Join us in the gallery foyer for creativity and fun!

Gallery Playdate is for children aged six months to five years and their carers. Gallery Playdates are fun exploring and making sessions for children aged six months to five years and their carers.

The Playdates often include looking at artworks, creative play, artmaking and soft toy play. 

Upcoming Sessions:

May 1: Synergy of Movement and Art. Join us as we embark on an adventure inspired by the exhibition synergy: Identity, Portraiture, and the Moving Body. Meet us in the Gallery Foyer for a session filled with movement and creativity. Let's make mobiles that dance!

June 5: Exploring Land and Sea, be inspired by the exhibition Saltwater Currents by artist Anthony J Walker. Celebrate National Reconciliation week with us as we embark on a creative journey together.

July 3: Celebrating Australian Women Artists in July, with an exciting art-making session inspired by the touring exhibition Know My Name: Australian Women Artists. Children will create artworks for special women in their lives.

August 7: Unraveling Madam Mystery Let your imagination run wild as we explore Madam Mystery by artist Anna Carey. Get ready to create and construct sculptures and embark on an adventure!
